This will be the final update for the year, I am going on holidays at the end of the week. I updated the Poem Corner with poems from Tracy and Rachel (thanks guys) and have some Alanis info below, taken from http://www.bayarea.com/mld/bayarea/entertainment/4706103.htm: **************** ``There've been some really sweet offers we've turned down -- acting and other things. We were just offered a great tour, but we said no. Unless I start pacing myself, I'll wind up burning out and really resenting what I do.'' She said she wants to focus on ``really getting anchored'' in 2003. ``I've
been so peripatetic, running all over the world for so long. I have places
-- smaller places in Canada and a place here in California. I'm trying
to get a sense of where I want to hang my hat. I'd like to create a sense
of community.'' So until next year, I wish all of you a merry Christmas and a happy new year, thank you all for your support and effort and hope that next year will be a great year (maybe before Alanis drops off the radar she can manage to come to Perth, Australia??? I cross my fingers.) Tim

A bunch of updates today: first off I would like to introduce Kevy to the Fan Section, thanks for sending in your submission and picture! Then I have added another poem submitted by Mike and there is a great interview in the article section, Alanis On Being A Woman. Go and check it out!
Alanis apparently has a new boyfriend, Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds, 25. They have been dating for three months and were spotted a few times together. You can read the whole story in the new article which was submitted by Adriana (thanks!). The picture was referenced at AlanisUtopia.com.
Thanks to Zephrum and Terri I have added another 2 poems to the Poem Corner. Nothing majorly new to report in terms of Alanis, she is till touring heavily and STILL no word on her Australian tour :( I am looking forward to the Australian release of the Music in High Places DVD...the date is the 23rd, tomorrow. So go ahead and get your copy, Australians can check out the local stores or alternatively go to http://www.ezydvd.com.au, their prices are decent and I have had no problems with them at all. Keep an eye out for the Big W and Kmart stores though because they can be REALLY cheap, especially if they have one of their 20% off all items sales...:)
Thanks to everyone for submitting material and feedback! Today I can bring you 3 more poems in the Poem Corner thanks to Joanna and Zephrum and a new addition to the Fan Section, say hello to James by dropping him a line if you like.
Okay here goes another update, I have changed some lyrics (thank you Stella), added 2 poems (thanks Terri) and included another person in the Fan Section (thanks Erin). I would like to say a huge "thank you" to everyone who visits this site and a special thanks goes out to the people who are kind enough to submit content such as for example lyrics, articles, pictures, links and photos of themselves! I am doing this site for one reason only and this is to provide good content for fans. Getting feedback and interaction from you guys shows me that I'm doing something right, so keep it coming. Thanks guys. Tim
Huuuuuge picture update today! Thanks to a friendly Italian visitor I can bring you a whopping 52 fantastic concert pics from the concert held on the 8th of August in Italy this year. The picture quality is great! So let's all thank Daniele Galizio for providing those pictures. You can find the new pictures starting here. Or simply start browsing the galleries if you have never been here before. Rock on.
I get asked a lot about Alanis' tour schedule and if she visits certain countries. Well I have now included a list of her official tourdates on the left hand side, which gets updated as often as I can.
Thanks to Christina and Matthew I have added another Fan Section entry and also corrected some mistakes in the lyrics section. Alanis seems to be touring endlessly at the moment but no word yet on the possibility of an Australian tour...:( Yesterday I finally got to see the second version of the Precious Illusions video...I like it. Unfortunately it's a bit too big a file in order to post it here, but you can pretty much find it on any filesharing program like for example WinMX or Kaaza. I'm also looking forward to getting my hands on the Music In High Places DVD as shown below...I gotta check out the Australian stores. Alternatively I could write a big review if the marketing people send me a free copy...:) In other unrelated news, the Lord Of The Rings DVD got released in Australia today, but I think I'm gonna wait for the release of the special edition DVD in November. Apparently it contains lots of extra footage and goodies...worth waiting for. Unless you are filthy rich and can afford to buy them both.
Hi everyone, I have been extremely busy lately and I finally found some time to update the site. Recently I was sent some promo material for Alanis' "Music In High Places" DVD release. This one looks very nice indeed, check out some of the screenshots below: As always, click on the picture to get a bigger version. So far, this seems to be released in the UK first, hopefully with other countries to follow. Here is some info taken from the press release: "This release is the latest from the breathtaking live performance series, Music in High Places. Dubbed ‘MTV-goes-National Geographic’ the series invites top international recording artists to perform live sets at some of the earth’s most intriguing natural locations, in the world’s most ancient and captivating sites. Selected from the United Nations 630 designated ‘world heritage’ sites and steeped in Native American culture, the breathtaking and mystical surroundings are a stunning complement to the passionate performer that is Alanis Morissette." The DVD features include a 47-minute ‘Songs only’ option, “Behind The Scenes” featurette, “Getting There” featurette, Dolby Digital 5.1 and stereo soundtracks. DVD 9. Subtitled in German, French and Spanish. DVD In other news, I have also added another entry to the Fan Section.
Wow, the Chart people came through and sent me an autographed issue of their magazine, check out the cover below: The article is nice too and I've put it in the article section for you to enjoy. The pictures are in the gallery under "Magazine". I have also put the lyrics to "Offer" in the lyrics section. Damn, I'm sure I was supposed to add something else to this update.....ahh yes, the "Women in Rock" Alanis issue. I'll do it next time, it's a nice article too.
There are 2 new entries in the Fan Section and another article has gone online as well. Last 3 month's stuff has been moved here
